Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Polytechnic has a Training and Placement cell for diploma students. Different activities are arranged under the placement cell like conducting aptitude tests, seminars, group discussions, guest lectures by industrial experts, and Soft Skill workshops.

The placement committee takes efforts to call companies for campus placement. Communication is through the HR group by telephonic contact or email. The student database is forwarded to the industry or company as per their requirement. Some of them provide industrial training and campus recruitment. As per their policy, they shortlist the students, and after finalizing the date and time, the company conducts campus drives in the college premises or they call the students at their premises.

Those students who pass the aptitude test are qualified for the next round, which includes technical and HR interviews.
